The Alamein line is part of the Burnley group on the Metro Trains Melbourne network. It runs from Flinders Street to Alamein, calling at 18 stations, and runs via the City Loop in the city centre. Change at Camberwell for Belgrave and Lilydale trains. Trains that continue to the city call at Richmond, the City Loop and Flinders Street; outside the weekday peaks many Alamein trains run only as a shuttle between Alamein and Camberwell.
